SCA operates out of UMass Dartmouth and is a year round competitive swim team offering expert coaching & technique instruction for all ages & abilities. The goal of SCA is to provide opportunities for our athletes to have successful high school & collegiate swimming careers.
Our head coach, Dave Ponte, is the Bishop Stang HS Varsity Coach. In April 2012, he was inducted into the Massachusetts High School Swimming & Diving Coaches Hall of Fame. He is also a Level III certified coach member of the American Swimming Coaches Association, an organization which provides the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States.
