New England Regional
Championships February 12-14, 2010 at Seekonk

Athletes must achieve qualifying times to be eligible to
participate in the meet.

To determine what day, time and events your child is swimming,
please look up your childs event numbers in the sca ind
events regional championships document and locate them in
the Event_List_Reg_Champs document. (Both documents found below).
IF you do not see your child’s name listed in the
SCA Meet entries document, they have not been entered in the
meet.
Please note: start
times have changed for the Sunday 8 & Under Session and the
Sunday Afternoon session. Also parents are required to time. If you
don't help time your child will not be allowed to participate.
Sunday 8 & Under Session - warm-up at 1:00pm, meet start
at 1:20pm
Sunday Afternoon Session - warm-up at 2:45pm, meet start at
3:45pm
Please let your parents know of the time change.
The 8 & Under sessions time out at about 45min each. We
will slow it down a little to give the kids a chance. I may try to
do awards for top 6 in each event which will help to slow it down a
little. We will be giving out Heat Winner prizes for the 8 &
Under session along with the New England swimming ribbons and
medals.
Please download and read the attachments concerning the
warm-up schedule, timing assignments and session reports. Just a
reminder that swimmers in the 500 Free on Friday evening and the
1650 Free on Saturday Night need to provide their own timers and
counters. In addition, teams are responsible to have parents
available for the entire session (excluding the 500 Free on Friday
evening) in which they have been assigned to time, including
relays.
Coaches hospitality will be available throughout the
meet.
